Dr. Prashant Chakkarwar is a well known Sexologist & Neuro-Psychiatrist at Siddhivinayak Mind Care Clinic & Navjivan Deaddiction Centre, Saraswat Chowk, Yavatmal in Maharashtra. He has started his private practice in Yavatmal since 2012.From begining he is well known for his pro-people approach and involved in various social activities. He has got opportunity to present his model of Psycho-Socioeconomic intervention for Prevention of Farmer’s Suicides to then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Devendraji Fadnavis in March 2015.Based on his recommendations Govt. of Maharashtra have implemented PRERANA PRAKALPA in 14 farmer’s suicides affected district of Vidarbha & Marathwada region.
Adding to his feathers on 20 June 2020 he has presented ICMR(Indian Council of Medical Research) about his Research on” Role of Montelukast in taming Cytokine storm in COVID-19 and thus reducing Mortality”
His interest areas are various Sexual issues like PME (Pre-mature Ejaculation), ED (Erectile Dysfunction), Sex Therapy , De-addiction, Depression & Mood Disoders, Schizophrenia, Hysteria, Epilepy, Sleep disoders, Childhood issues like ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disoders), Bed-Wetting(Nocturnal Enuresis) & Various Behavioural issues in Children, Dementia & BPSD in elderly etc
